Caroline Knox joined FP1 Strategies in July 2015 with over ten years of executive experience. As chief administrative officer, Caroline is responsible for the firm’s financial planning and analysis, human resources and day-to-day operations.
Caroline most recently served as vice president of finance and operations for New America, where she spearheaded a complete overhaul of all financial and operational systems. Before that, Caroline worked as the director of operations for the Committee for a Responsible Budget, where she was instrumental in the Committee’s spinoff from New America and its rollout of the Campaign to Fix the Debt.
Prior to her time in DC, Caroline served as director of finance & operations at Watson & Knox in Thomson, Georgia, and practiced labor and employment law with Troutman Sanders LLP in Atlanta. Before practicing law, Caroline worked as an account manager at Pritchard & Jerden in Atlanta and as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Keegan in Memphis.
Caroline is a proud Georgia Bulldog. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in finance and marketing and received her J.D., cum laude, also from the University of Georgia.
A native of Thomson, Georgia, Caroline currently lives in Arlington, Virginia with her daughter, Mimi.
