Jamie Wren has more than a decade of strategic communications, grassroots mobilization and marketing experience.
Currently at FP1 Strategies, she leads public affairs and consumer education campaigns for clients across healthcare, energy and technology sectors.
In 2012, Wren joined Burson-Marsteller to oversee day-to-day operations and special projects for the executive office of U.S. CEO. Serving as the chief of staff, she was a liaison to the U.S. leadership team working with seven practices and across nine markets to manage client service, talent and new business initiatives. She was also a project manager for one of Burson’s largest global cross-agency accounts.
Previously at Direct Impact (grassroots subsidiary of Burson), Wren developed and implemented integrated national and grassroots communications campaigns focused on stakeholder outreach, earned media, government engagement and marketing initiatives. She also managed regional field teams across the U.S. executing public affairs, corporate reputation and brand marketing programs.
Prior to DI, Wren worked as a marketing specialist at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. Through print and radio advertisements, she promoted higher education, research and economic development in Southside Virginia.
A native of Danville, Virginia, Wren graduated from Averett University with a B.A. in Political Science and also attended the Universitá per Stranieri in Perugia, Italy. She lives in Washington, D.C.
