Corry Bliss

Recognized as one of the country’s top political operatives, Corry Bliss has over 10 years of experience at the highest levels of Republican politics and on some of the toughest campaigns.

Bliss most recently served as executive director of the American Action Network (AAN) and the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), in support of the House Republican leadership, where he raised and managed a $213 million budget.  Under his leadership, both organizations shattered previous fundraising records and launched an unprecedented 40-office national field program that contacted more than 35 million voters.

Prior to joining AAN and CLF in January 2017, Bliss managed some of the most competitive federal and state campaigns in the country.  He was recently named as “one of his party’s most closely watched young strategists” by The New York Times and TIME Magazine named him “National Republicans’ favorite political fixer.”

During the 2016 cycle, Bliss ran U.S. Senator Rob Portman’s winning re-election campaign in Ohio, turning a nine-point polling deficit into a 21-point win.  The Portman campaign was named the “campaign of the year” by The Washington Post.  Bliss also managed U.S. Senator Pat Roberts’ come-from-behind win in 2014 in Kansas, which along with the Portman campaign, were supported by the FP1 team.

Bliss is a graduate of Boston University and the CUNY School of Law.  He lives in Virginia with his wife and two sons.
