Hal Smith

Deputy Director, Digital Advertising


Hal Smith is the Deputy Director of Digital Advertising and is responsible for building, executing and optimizing advertising campaigns across all digital platforms.

Prior to FP1, Hal was a Digital Advertising Coordinator for the Republican National Committee and the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, leveraging Facebook and Google Adwords for list acquisition, fundraising and Get-Out-the-Vote campaigns. In this role, he was also a member of RNC Digital’s Performance, Optimization & Experiments Team (POET).

Before joining the RNC, Hal was a state policy associate at Americans for Tax Reform, a digital intern at America Rising and a field representative for John Stirrup in Virginia’s 13th District.

Hal studied History and Political Science at Sewanee: The University of the South and hails from Lexington, Virginia.
