Jon joined FP1 in the fall of 2017, bringing with him experience as a veteran of more than a dozen competitive Republican campaigns and as a seasoned communications professional with experience leading an editorial team at a media outlet and running a press shop on Capitol Hill.
In 2015, Jon helped launch LifeZette with now-Fox News Channel host Laura Ingraham. He shaped and led the political news team, helping to transform the site from a concept into one of the most influential conservative media outlets in Washington, with a presence at White House briefings, regular hits on major aggregators, like the Drudge Report, and personalities commenting on national cable news outlets.
Prior to his time at LifeZette, Jon served as communications director for Rep. Alex Mooney (R-W.V.).
Before moving to Washington, Jon worked on and managed numerous GOP campaigns up and down the east coast, ranging in size from Virginia House of Delegates to gubernatorial and U.S. Senate contests.
Jon has worked at every level on political campaigns, having served as a field director, political director, campaign manager, communications consultant and general consultant.
In 2014, Jon managed the first statewide GOP campaign in Connecticut to win a contested primary without the endorsement of the party convention in more than two decades.
