Josh Silberberg has more than a decade of experience helping businesses, nonprofits and political leaders push the right messages to the right audiences.
Prior to joining FP1 in May 2018, Silberberg spent nearly four years leading the strategic communications department at 30 Point Strategies. In that role, he helped healthcare, trade and energy clients navigate crises and position themselves as thought leaders. He was a senior associate with the firm earlier in his career, where he counseled foreign leaders on how to best communicate their interests to U.S. audiences.
Silberberg also served as Director of Communications at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies between 2013 and 2014.
He came to Washington in the fall of 2005 to join the Embassy of Israel’s press department, in which he served under three prime ministers. He eventually became the embassy’s director of communications, where he developed media engagement and outreach strategies, and handled press advance during bilateral working visits and the 2007 Annapolis Conference.
Silberberg is a member of the Board of Visitors for the College of Communication & Information Sciences at The University of Alabama, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and their two daughters.
