Steve Munisteri is a partner with FP1 and leads FP1’s Austin, Texas office where he works on some of the country’s top campaigns.  He is currently a senior campaign advisor to U.S. Senator John Cornyn’s re-election campaign, as well as the Texas Senate Republican Caucus.  Munisteri also advises the Republican Party of Texas on volunteer engagement and voter registration efforts for the 2020 election cycle.

Munisteri grew up in Houston where he spent most of his professional career.  Munisteri served as chairman of the Republican Party of Texas from 2010 to 2015 based in Austin.  Under Munisteri’s leadership there was an increase of 1,190 Republican elected officials around the state, constituting an increase from 45 percent of all elected offices to 67 percent.  The 2014 cycle represents an all-time record regarding the number of Texas Republicans elected, which still stands today.  During Munisteri’s term, records were also set for total number of Republican state House and Members of Congress.
