Tim Edson, a managing director at FP1, was recently recognized by the American Association of Political Consultants as one of its 40 Under 40 for 2020.
“Tim Edson is a rising star in our party. He knows how to win tough fights. Tim is smart; he’s creative and he excels in developing winning strategies and effective ads. Tim Edson has played a vital role in our firm’s success, and everyone at FP1 congratulates him on being named one of AAPC’s 40 Under 40,” said Jon Downs, a founding and managing partner at FP1.
Edson provides general consulting and advertising services to several FP1 clients, including Governor Jim Justice, Congressman Michael McCaul and congressional challengers Wesley Hunt in TX-7 and Lynne Homrich in GA-7. Edson also serves as the national field director for the Susan B. Anthony List, where he is building a multimillion-dollar field program to impact the 2020 presidential and battleground senate races.
A high-impact media consultant, Edson developed advertising for the Congressional Leadership Fund in WI-1 in 2018 that won three Reed Awards. As part of this successful IE campaign, Edson recruited the brother of Democratic candidate Randy Bryce to appear in a negative ad against him, earning a Reed Award for Most Daring Tactic and Toughest TV ad.
